WHEN "SLEEPS LIKE A BABY" ISN'T A COMPLIMENT

One thing I've noticed about the MAGA crowd is they seem to have a handful of canned responses they copy and paste into every comment section.

The comments are usually along the lines of But Biden, or Trump is still your president,

Well... yeah, he unfortunately is the president; that’s not exactly breaking news.

Then comes one of my favorites, dropped in my inbox the other day that got me thinking.

"While you're over there worrying about money and politics, Donald Trump sleeps like a baby."

You know what, he is right.

He does sleep like a baby.

He falls asleep in public. He wakes up in a tantrum. He needs constant attention and throws a fit when things don’t go his way, and, according to more than a few reports and plenty of jokes over the years, he shits his diaper.

Come to think of it, "sleeps like a baby" may be the most accurate description they've ever come up with for this pathetic human being.

The difference is, when an actual baby wakes up crying at three in the morning, it's because they're hungry or had a bad dream, not to get on social media to keep pushing a conspiracy theory of election fraud that has been debunked multiple times in court because you can’t handle losing.

It's amazing how a phrase meant to compliment someone accidentally became the perfect description of an 80-year-old man who is somehow the leader of the free world.

So the next time someone tells me Donald Trump sleeps like a baby at night, knowing he is the most powerful man in the country, I won’t argue.

The only question I want answered is if Natalie Harp is being paid with taxpayer money to be this guy’s personal diaper changer.
