WE THE PEOPLE UNTIL IT’S INCONVENIENT

Every time I try to get away from being political on my blog, something happens that brings me right back in.

Yesterday in Minneapolis was one of those days. Alex Pretti was shot and killed by federal immigration agents on the street. He was a legal carrier, and in the many videos that are circulating, he never even appears to draw his weapon.

For people who say they strongly support the Second Amendment right to bear arms, it’s disappointing to see so many accept the narrative Kristi Noem and Donald Trump’s administration are pushing. This is what our leadership has been reduced to…no gathering facts, just spewing propaganda to please the MAGA base.

And that’s where it gets interesting.

The number of people I’ve seen repeating the hatred and lies of the MAGA regime while having “We the People” as their profile picture… really? Then why are you so mad at people exercising their right to free speech and protest? Why are you suddenly mad at a guy in Minneapolis exercising his right to bear arms?

The MAGA base supporting an administration that’s slowly ripping away our freedoms is the last people who should have “We the People” on their vehicle windows or in their profile pictures. Call me a snowflake, but I stand for the Constitution while too many of you stand for “We the People,” meaning people like yourself…white.

This country is at a tipping point. This administration has done nothing but drive a wedge further and further into us. The time is now to stand up and invoke the 25th Amendment. Trump is not fit to lead this country, and federal immigration enforcement is not fit to be militarizing our streets.

This needs to be the tipping point where people realize that owning the libs comes with a price, and that price is your constitutional rights.
