Welcome to 2026!!

About a year ago, I decided to start a blog to keep myself busy during my downtime. I didn’t expect it to lean political at times, but it has. And I understand why that turns some people off. Once politics enters the chat, you risk losing a big chunk of readers right away.

I’d call myself more independent than anything. I have some conservative views along with liberal ones, and I think it’s important for Americans to have a voice, and just as important to listen to one another. The divide in this country isn’t healthy, and I don’t think our political leadership—especially Trump—has helped bring people together.

Now that we’re in a new year, I wanted to share something more fun: my new logo and color scheme for 2026. It feels like it fits my vibe better, and I’m excited to roll with it.

This year I’m also planning to start doing beer and brewery reviews, along with some album reviews.
