HOLIDAY SEASON BRINGS OUT THE WORSE IN SIMPS

The holidays bring out the worst in simps.

You see them all over social media — usually on women’s Facebook pages — littering the comments with:

• “Those eyes 😍”

• “So beautiful”

• “Wifey material”

• Hearts, fire emojis, the whole digital bouquet

But the second she posts a picture with her new boo?
Crickets.

All that “queen” energy vanishes the moment reality shows up in the form of a guy actually sitting next to her.

Every year around this time, my feed turns into a sad little parade of guys posting about how it’s “another holiday alone” and asking the universe why “good guys always struggle to find good girls.”

Here’s the thing nobody wants to say out loud:

Sometimes it’s not about you being a “good guy.”

Sometimes it’s about looks, confidence, and expectations. And yes, looks play a part — a pretty big one.
