GREG ABBOT CAN GO TO HELL — AND I’LL GLADLY MAKE SURE IT’S HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE FOR HIM

If Texas Governor Greg Abbott is destined for hell, I’ll gladly help make sure it’s wheelchair accessible. Not out of kindness, but because unlike him, I believe everyone — even those who’ve made life harder for millions — should have access to their final destination.

Abbott’s political career has been a masterclass in performative loyalty to Donald Trump. He doesn’t just toe the MAGA line; he shines Trump’s shoes while making sure the boots are stomping on the voting rights of Texans, especially African Americans. When Trump barks about “election integrity,” Abbott hears, “Draw me some new maps so we can lock in power forever,” and obliges with the enthusiasm of a man auditioning for the VP slot.

This isn’t strategy — it’s blatant cheating. Abbott knows the heat is on. His approval ratings have been sliding, his policies are under fire, and his grip on power isn’t as ironclad as it once was. So instead of winning hearts and minds, he’s redrawing lines on a map to silence the voices that threaten him. The recent Texas redistricting maps carve up Black and Latino communities like they’re inconvenient puzzle pieces — splitting neighborhoods, drowning voices, and ensuring those communities have as little influence as possible.

It’s not about policy differences. It’s not even about winning fair and square. It’s about locking the door to the voting booth for people who might not worship at the altar of Abbott’s GOP. And he’s doing it with full knowledge that courts have already flagged these maps for violating the Voting Rights Act. He doesn’t care. He’ll appeal, delay, redraw just enough to skirt the law, then start the cycle again. The goal isn’t representation; it’s control.

This isn’t just politics-as-usual. It’s an assault on democracy wrapped in a Texas flag and sold as “patriotism.” Abbott is doing everything in his power to make sure the people most affected by his policies — from health care to education to criminal justice — are the least able to change them at the ballot box.

So yes, Greg Abbott can go to hell. And when he does, I’ll make sure the ramp is sturdy, well-lit, and built to code. Because the one thing I refuse to do is deny someone access — even if they’ve spent their career denying it to others.
